Want to volunteer at Y Oslo 2026?❤
Y Oslo needs volunteers to help make Chateau Neuf work on 26 and 27 October. We need people for everything from welcoming attendees at the door, tidying up, and acting as human signposts, to guiding people through a maze of a building.
As a volunteer, you get to meet industry people and speakers from several countries, and talk to people who share your interests. [insert updated numbers here, e.g. attendees or companies, if you want that included]
As a volunteer, you join a team of people from different backgrounds. Some have worked conferences before, others never have. What matters most is that you show up, treat people well, and want to pitch in.
You can choose
Paid: 250 NOK/hour: You work a normal work day and get paid, with tax withheld as usual. You work 8 hours including a 30-minute lunch break. We can't guarantee access to the talks.
Free: You work in shifts. When you're not working, you have access to the conference like a regular attendee. 1 hour worked = 1 hour of conference access.
